To meet the demand, we've introduced a new line of contemporary-themed lamps. These designs all use a GU24 socket that accepts a CFL bulb. A CFL bulb uses up to 75% less energy and lasts up to 10 times longer than standard incandescent lighting.
New improvements made to CFL lamps now allow for lighting that is very close to the color and quality of incandescent lighting. And new ballasts that power the bulbs have done away with the "flickering" we remember from years ago with fluorescent lighting.
